India today is at the verge of “demographic transition”, a journey that has been walked by the developed economies of the world. By 2025 India is expected to have 65% of its populace in the working age bracket to translate to around 95 crore people.
The ministry is responsible for coordination of all skill development across the country. It boost up the demand and supply of skilled manpower,building the vocational and technical training framework,skill up-gradation, and innovative thinking for existing jobs and jobs that are to be created. The ministry set up the high standards in order to achieve its vision of a ‘Skilled India’.
Due to the development of skilled resources in the country,Virtual Global Education Limited (VGEL) is working with a number of State Governments to implement their Skill development initiatives.National Skill Development Agency (NSDA), National Skill Development Fund (NSDF), as well as 187 training partners registered with NSDC.
